Yo this fight is gonna be mad crazy on saturday. I expect an all out war because Cotto never backs down and Clottey never backs up. I truely see this fight as a 50-50 and it could go to anybody. Now lets just say Clottey wins(which is a huge possiblitly) Im not sure if Mosley would want to fight him because its clear Mosley wants the fat cash. si I'm wondering if Mosley doesnt fight him then what happens?? Clottey will clearly be #2 at WW if he beats Cotto. I think Mosley should fight him because the lineal champ would come out of there. I know alot of things gotta happen but can Clottey be WW king at the end of this year??? Can he really beat Cotto and Mosley?? I dont know but Clottey is good enough to do it. what do you guys think? and if Mosley doesnt fight Clottey and Clottey beats Berto in his next fight, how can you say hes not the champ?? Now lets get something straight, Cotto has a great shot at beating Clottey, im just making this thread because I remeber I did one for, "If Mosley beats Margarito" and everybody came in like, its not gonna happen so who cares. so im doing the same thing now. can Clottey really be WW king by this year???
no he cant. the fight isnt 50-50 either, more like 60-40 cotto. if clottey wins its an upset, no one can deny that
I dont think it would be upset, alot of PPL would be surprised, but anybody wityh boxing knowledge knows that Clottey is the 2nd best boxer Cotto has ever faced and the best defensive fighter hes ever faced. 60-40 Cotto isnt bad, more like 55-45
well, since mosleys unwilling to take on any of the other welterweights out there right now, hypothetically IF clottey does beat cotto i would regard him as the WW king. if mosley wasn't just trying to fight pac for the big money big prestige fight, i would definitely still regard him as the man to beat at WW. that being said i really wish more fighters were willing to fight in their own god damn weight class instead of chasing the superstar or the easier fight.
If Cotto is on top form, I think it will be anti-climactic to an extent. However Cotto should be good to watch as Clottey suits him down to the ground. A pressure fighter but without the size and power to really trouble him in the way Margarito did. Cotto should pick him apart.
Clottey's punch output will drop in the second half of the fight as usual so he will lose by close ud.
