    Here's the questions that are still unanswered:

    1. Who fought in the 1st bout that the ring announcer announced the scores?

    2. When was the 1st time both the mandatory 8 count rule and 3 knockdowns in 1 round terminating the bout was used in a Championship match? Who were the boxers?

    3. Besides being the first Heavyweight title fight at Madison Square Garden, what other 1st happened in the Willard/Moran bout in 1916?

    Some quirk in New York law at the time meant the result had to be declared a no decision.

    It made the 10 rounds of fighting a bit of a waste of time really - though I'm sure they would both have been well rewarded.

    No it has nothing to do with the number of rounds or No-Decision bouts.

    The answer is on several web sites and record books.

    What you talking about? Of course, I had to look that one up, if I didn't I'd have answered it straight away (that's how the quiz element works). I'm not claiming I knew it, just that 'H' kept asking it, so I felt research was in order. I now realise it's in the other thread. :yep
