This I can agree with. One quick question that may be too big a discussion for here: do you think Floyd was "asked" to ease off the first four rounds and give Oscar a chance? After five he was a completely different fighter and it seems like the deal was take the first third easy and then do what you want. Floyd figured he'd still win and Oscar would figure that means he just needs to win 3 of the next 8. I get the feeling something was said behind the scenes so that the match would be more competive and thus, set up a HUGE sequel.
A way past his prime sweet Pea was much more impressive against prime DLH than fraud was against a way past it version of Oscar ,anyone who mention Fraud along with Whitaker should be shot.
I always thought there would be a rematch and your scenario has merit. Take it easy and set up a rematch.:think Winky said during his fight with Tito that he didn't want to beat Tito that badly because he wanted a rematch....who knows?
STFU! :rofl That's why PBF turned down the rematch!!! atsch The reason why PBF looked better after the 9th was because DLH as usual slowed down. Even when PBF came on, he still did NOT look spectacular.
7-5 but I've watched that fight atleast 7 times and have scored it 8-4 PBF or 9-3 PBF every time. 7-5 PBF is a reach and really and it gives Oscar way too much credit. I don't see how anyone could have that score to be honest.
Yeah he turned it down but so what? I've never thought of the scenario the previous poster pointed out.
That's funny.:huh The last time I checked PBF was 2-0 against JLC and 39-0 going for 40-0 against JMM. You're delusional stay out of the sun man.
