More and more people visiting the Brit forum

I dont think the majority of people who dislike Khan are racists.

There are a racial element.

A journalist was once at a Amir Khan fight and there was a selection of rival Kevin Micthell fans throwing horrible racial verbal abuse in Amir Khans direction and he said it was a disgrace and that it has no place in boxing.

However to say everyone who dislikes him is racist is just wrong :-(

What do you expect - that everyone is obliged to like him just because he is from a certain race and ethinic background?

Some people just dont warm to Khan - he has done himself no favours with this but seems to thick to realise it

 

I'm usually a general forum or lounge lizzard. But I've noticed myself coming in the Brit forum more and more, its improved a lot recently, I always felt like it was a bit of ghost town, despite the general quality of the posting being superior. :good

I love Khan, but dislike Hatton and think Calzaghe's is a bit of a fraud.

All boxers have their haters - bringing race into it does no-one any favours. There are no doubt racists out there but not everyone who thinks Khan is a bender does so because he's asian. Look at Naseem Hamed - an arrogant asian little turd yet we'd all have him back like a shot

I have just seen a PBF annihilates Julian Jackson thread on the general forum where everyone seemed to be agreeing ...this may explain why its busier around here

Khan isnt disliked because of his race, there may be a tiny percentage that this doesnt apply for the the vast majority dislike him because he started off his career talking complete shite. Racist comments are thrown at Khan but this came after people took a dislike to him as a means off having a go at him. Ill give you an example of what I mean, say if your a fat bloke, you may be I dont know, and we fell out for some reason, now I wouldnt dislike you because you were fat, but I would call you a fat ******* as a way of having a go at you. Im not excusing the racist comments, simply pointing out that these came after Khan attracted the hate by being a ***** for the majority.

 

Being fat, and being Pakistani, are two very different things.

 

Its because the brit forum is the only section on this site where common sense is spoken.
The general section seems to be full of delusional nutters.

The nuthugger thing is very annoying.The worst thing on general for me is when a guy loses a fight he goes from a hero to a usless bag of **** over night.At least on the brit pages people show fighters a little more respect.
