Why would 135-140 be considered his peak weight? He didnt beat anyone of note. Half he times he was carrying around the WBO strap.
Why are you even commenting on matters such as this when you clearly haven't even seen Oscar's fights at 135-140 or know anything about his career? You jump in as usual dying to guzzle some Floyd cum and expose your lack of knowledge again. I can't be bothered explaining anything to you, you're a biased blind fanboy who just isn't worth it.
Ruelas, Hernandez, Leija and an old as **** Chavez. The fighters weren't the whole story but his performances are what counts. Physically he reached his peak and his skills were amazing
Sorry thats not good enough. Who did Oscar fight at the lower weights for you to classify this as his peak weight? Yes he knocked out a lot of bums. But people will always remember him for his superfights at 147, where he faced the top competition in the sport. so how can you assume that 140 was his peak if he was never tested at that weight? Again I fail to see what your point is. The poster is asking who'd win between Floyd and Oscar at 147.
Remove your head from Floyd's rectum, and go watch some dvds and do some reading before commenting on things you know absolutely **** all about. That is the only advice you are getting.
Your typical childish response when you really have no answer to a question. Tell me dope before you go, what does any of this have to do with the OP's question which was Floyd vs Oscar at 147?
I have already answered that question. My answer is on the previous page. Of course you won't agree because your brain is not capable of conceiving of any possible situation wherein Floyd Mayweather might not triumph, but your opinion means less than nothing to me so au revoir le fanboy :hi:
Yet again knobcheese, I answered the question on the previous page. Take your eyes off your Floyd poster and you would have seen that.
There are loads of fighters I'd favor over Floyd at 147. Namely a prime Mosley. Who never stopped throwing strikes. Who would assuredly trouble Floyd. Meanwhile Oscar De La Hoya, while a great fighter, didnt have what guys like Floyd had in the championship rounds which kept him from being truly elite. That was the ability to peak in the later rounds. To be fresh when your opponent is tired. That is why Oscar will always lose to a prime Floyd.
Floyd is just too economical with his punches and just not as effective when pressured @ 147. DLH at his best @ 147 put punches together very well. Pot shot Floyd @ 147 just not active enough NOR the risk taker.
Whats wrong about it? Did or did not Oscar have trouble closing out fights? Did or did not Oscar throughout his career struggle with his stamina? Come on clown. Answer the question.
