And I will ask AGAIN, in what fights from 135-140 did Oscar tire badly down the stretch? Trust me, 90% at least of Oscar fans and/or neutrals who have followed his career will say his peak was 135-140. What fights did you see this happen in?
This isnt about 130-140 moron. The OP was referring to Floyd vs Oscar at 147. Oscars fights at these wieghts didnt last long enough for anyone to decipher whether he had the same struggles with stamina as he would later one. Again clown, what are you struggling with here.
Peak Oscar 135-140 had no stamina problem. We have now established this, since you have repeatedly failed to provide any examples. The best version of Oscar at 147 fought 12 rounds against Whitaker, Quartey, Trinidad, and Mosley twice. In which one of those five fights did Oscar gas badly in the last few rounds? He beat Whitaker, Quartey, Trinidad and Mosley the second time. Against Trinidad he was dancing round the ring for the last couple of rounds, and in the other three fights he was still throwing a hell of a lot of punches in the last few. In the only one he convincingly lost, the first Mosley fight, he was still throwing a lot of punches and fighting at a high pace at the end. YOU ARE WRONG. Peak Oscar did not have a stamina problem either at his peak weights of 135-140, nor in his peak time at 147. Owned. Again. :hi:
You have never established that Oscar was peak at 135-140 considering how he didnt fight anyone and most of his fights didnt last long to begin with thus making a question of deciphering how well his conditioning was irrelevent. Once again proving you are a clown. De La Hoya in the Mosley fights during the championship rounds made Mosley look like a boxing savant. He was flat footed, he reached with his punches, and the odd flurry that he did manage, mostly shoe shining punches typical of Oscars work, he was sloppy and Mosley was easily able to duck away. If you watch the final rounds of the Mosley vs Oscar, it looks alot like the championship rounds of Oscar vs Mosley. Mosley tagging Oscar at will in the middle of the ring with relative ease. Oscar pawing with his punches, looking for an opening but cant seem to pull the trigger. Flat footed, clenched fist, but nothing dangerous coming. AS for the Trinidad fight, it was obvious Oscar was gassed. There were some moments when he literally looked out on his feat getting caught wit bombs from Trinidad. In the Ike Quartey fight, same thing, just spread out more evenly through the fight. Clearly Oscar can not maintain the same level of intensity as the fighters we would classify as elite. Typical childish response from you. "Ooo you got owned son!" Im so mad right now! Hmpf!
He won 4 and lost 1 of his 5 big fights at 147, and was never stopped, and was dropped only by Quartey and was never dropped in the last round. And this was 5 fights against TOP, TOP opposition. Yep, sounds like a killer stamina problem alright. Still want more of this??
Still playing the clown bit eh? You could argue that he lost to both Whitaker and Ike Quartey. He has an L against both Trinidad and Mosley. Which is 2 losses not 1. So in reality he was 3-2, with atleast 3 of his fights which could have gone either way. He lost the championship rounds aganst both Trinidad and Mosley. He looked troubled for stretches in the fiht against Ike Quartey. The point being, Oscar could not fight a complete fight. He could not fight a full 12 rounds. And to beat Floyd you need to fight a full fight. You cant fight half a fight and expect to win. Tell me dope, in the later rounds against Mosley, you dont see anything similar between those and the later rounds against Floyd at 154?
Oscar would smoke EVERY single fighter Floyd has faced. Most by brutal KO. Floyd's fans are delusional thinking that cause he's undefeated he would beat prime DLH. That means nothing.
Yawn. No wonder everyone on here seems to hate you, it gets VERY boring talking to someone so twisted with hatred for everything except one single fighter. Oscar went 4-1 against top, top comp at 147. He was never knocked down in the last round. He was never stopped. His 4 wins were on points over the full 12 round duration. Only a frenzied fanboy joke like you would call that a stamina problem. Ridiculous! :nut PS: Try and watch some of Oscar's 135-140 fights. That was his peak. If you are going to try and comment on some non Floyd careers, at least know a bit about them. :good
You are such a clown. You are entering simple jacks league now. Twisted hatred? Uhh didnt I say a prime Mosley at 147 I'd favor to beat Floyd? Honestly what is wrong with you? You seriously cant see where Oscar was flawed as a fighter and why he would struggle against Floyd at 147? I cant help you son. You have to watch his fights and figure it out yourself. Oscar was 3-2 officially at 147. Atleast 3 of his fights were up to dispute. 2 of them, the Whitaker and Quartey fight many believe he was gifted a decision. Oscars stamina problems have been well documented. His inability to close out fights, his inability to fight at a high level for a whole fight cost him elite status and recognition as the best of his generation. Again you are out of your element here kid. Go argue with the Calzaghe fans, they are more in your league.
This is indisputable fact: Oscar went 4-1 against top, top comp at 147. He was never knocked down in the last round. He was never stopped. His 4 wins were on points over the full 12 round duration. Toodle-oo :hi:
