Peter is not very good, he beat Toney and Maskaev because they were OLD and over the hill, the Toney that fought Holy would've did a real # on peter. Peter is lazy, arrogant and stubborn, he just isn't willing to work on his conditioning or skill set, Shaky whiskers aside Haye is better than Peter in every way right now.

McCline is not a puncher, Haye is a puncher, he has knocked out elites at CW, Maskaev is an old man. As for Wlad he simply panicked .

What? Was Mormeck not elite? Was Toney not a shell of himself when he fought Peter?

Mormeck is not a big puncher by any stretch of the immagination, lacks stamina and solid defensive skills. He is a pressure fighter who cannot keep up the pressure. Mormeck, Haye and Bell are lucky they weren't on top at cruiser when Gomez, Jirov and Toney were in control.

Gomez would knock Haye without any problem.

i think peter is an obvious step up in class from monte barrett and probably better for haye before he gets in with a klitschko, i think Haye is better btw.
I think haye may have been taking on a klitschko too soon and it might be better for him to fight someone like peter/ibragimov/maskaev

Yeah, Solis stopped Haye in amateurs. Haye was stopped by old cruiserweight in pros.

Chagaev beat Felix Savon two times in amateurs.

I started under the impression that this forum was for folks who watched boxing. Now I realise it's just mainly for ******s who haven't got a ****ing clue about anything.

Peter KOs haye in brutal fashion:rofl:rofl

Peter has, and never had ANYTHING. He's like the Ali 'mummy' impression of Foreman. Only less lively.

Most of his wins have been against bums, he only took wins against Toney cause Toney is even more ****ed up than he is.

And this so called 'Nigerian Nighmtare's power. Where is it? Which fighters has he KO'd exactly? It's amazing, the american fight fans are so desperate for a heavyweight champ they can call they're own they'd be willing to put the WBA belt on a dollop of **** and claim it could KO David Haye or the Klits.

Haye backed out of the fight! Vitali wants to fight Haye ASAP. I hope WBC will allow such. Vitali by vicious knockout. Vitali knocked Hide out, Haye has refused to fight Hide for years.

Glad to see Mormeck mentioned. No one brings him up. I was watching his first fight against Bell the other day, awesome fight that was. Mormeck is built like a **** brick house and you'd think he would KO everyone but his KO ratio is pretty average.
