:D I read his book 5 times, the man knows his ****. Here's some of what Atlas will be saying on the 20th. Here are the keys to victory for Chagaev "When Wlad step's to the left bang, a big hook from Chagaev will probably put him on ***** street, a familar setting for Klistchko whose been down that rode one too many times" back to you Brian.

If it airs on Classic will they also show it on regular ESPN later like they did with Vitali-Gomez? I'm considering what I'm going to do with switching TV soon and I will probably drop Classic. Won't matter for this fight, but if it matters in the future...

It should be. It should be on ESPN 2 at the worst. ESPN 2 is always showing some sort of boxing on the weekends.

At least it's for the Ring Magazine HW title. This will probably be like the Gomez-Klitschko fight with the fight on ESPN 2 after it's on ESPN Classic.

I thought Chagaev pulled out of the Valuev fight because he wasn't able to pass the medical?

Do they not test for Hepatitis in Germany or something?

It's a long and nonsensical story. Depending on who you believe either the Finnish meds put a stop to the fight over something or Don King pulled a **** load of strings to get the fight killed.

Wlad by no means has an iron chin but its not as putrid as you make it seem, or when others do. Against Peter he was knock down three times-but you can easily make an argument that some of those shots were behind the back of the head-even than in that fight he took some flush shots. He probaly took one of the cleanest shots in that fight in the third round when peter landed flush left hook right on Wlad's chin-Peter's bread and butter punch. He didn't go down. Against Sanders he got knock down couple of times and was able to make it through to the second round. Even Vitali was hurt by Sanders in the first round. Both Sanders and Peter are hard punchers. And both against Wlad they weighed around 240+. As Lennox Lewis once stated, when you have guys that weigh that much and you get hit and you don't see it or aren't prepared for it-you're going to get hurt or go down.

In addition if you have followed Wlad's career, you would know that he was much more of an agressive fighter before Manny took over. Look at the effect than Manny had on Lewis. Fights with, Akinwande, Tua among pleothra of other figths were boring. Lewis was seen by many as a boring fighter The problem with the HW is not so much Wlad, but the lack of any challenge against him. And his loss against brewster and sanders, guys he should beaten wil always hunt him.

When they say "Champion in Recess" I think of them having to go to the playground and get Chagaev to climb down from the monkeybars. Although some would say that's the most fitting place for him to be.

When they say "Champion Emiritus" I think of them making the champ walkout wearing a graduation gown and a mortarboard hat.

At this point I'd be more impressed with a Boy Scout merit badge than these fugazy titles.

Don King owns 50% of Valouev and 100% of Ruiz.

Different med standards. Chagaev would pass in Germany, did pass.

Smells of a cash out fight for me with Chagaev. If he's got that sort of health issue, he won't be able to fight for long, and should (I certainly would) be looking for one last big payday.

This problem has been explained on front page, should still be there. He does not have this sickness now.

I believe in medicine in Germany. If German physicians say it is OK for Chagaev to fight, then it must be like that. Germans are very strict with rules and regulations in general.

If HBO wants to pass on this huge heavyweight showdown, it is fine with me. Other TV channels will not miss it for sure.
