    News: Siaca calls out Mundine

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – Former WBA super middleweight champion Manny Siaca is offering present IBO title-holder Anthony Mundine an opportunity to avenge one of his three pro losses, even if it means fighting Mundine again in his hometown of Sydney. Five years ago, Siaca captured the WBA super middleweight belt from Mundine, by way of 12-round decision, in Sydney..

The 33-year-old Siaca (22-6, 19 KOs) said his experiment as a light heavyweight is in the past and he’s ready to take on Mundine (36-3, 23 KOs) again. “Since I beat him,” the Puerto Rican boxer said, “he’s fought nobody, only bums, other than Mikkel Kessler, who beat him, too. Mundine is fooling the people of Australia. In 2007, his people talked about him fighting me but they thought it was too risky. Danny Green pulled out of a fight against me, too. I beat Mundine in his backyard and I’ll do it again.”

Siaca is talking a big talk.......I think Mundine got the wrong advice from his team in round 10 and Mundine than ran for the last few rounds....lost on points......I think Mundine wont make the same mistake this time and at MW I think hes got the advantage.

So what do you guys think about this fight.....I think its great :good

Siaca pulled out of the Green fight coz he had the sniffles.. Just wanna get that straight.

Mundine should stick to this idea of fighting Pavlik. Siaca means **** these days really.

Yes better than a crap fight next, but really.. It's about time he got a great fight in.

I think the Pavlik fight is a possibility, but I'm not sure it will happen next. I hope it happens.

    oh no. pointless fight.

it's been said a thousand time's before but i think this is the last chance mundine has to step up and have a real chance, Geale was a great test moving in the right direction...

    cmon mundine

    - Felix Sturm
    - Kelly Pavlik
    - Arthur Abraham

but got a feelin that when the next fight is announced i will be shaking my head.. again.

Maybe after he's had a crack at someone a little higher up the rankings, we all know Mundine can beat him, he just pussied around, then again we'll probabaly be charged $50 for it, in which case stuff it.

The soft option wld be for Mundine to actually fight Siaca, i'm sure Mundine thinks he can beat him fairly easy this time.

This gives him another decent payday ripping off the Aussie public once again.

It will be advertised as redemption or revenge or so crap like that by foxsports ppv. Manny will be interviewed by the footy show again and say stuff like he beat "The man" last time and will kick his ass again. Meanwhile Mundine will say this is his biggest challenge in years and will prove he is number 1 by revenging his loss to Siaca :patsch

I reckon Siaca has had his instructions from the Mundine camp.

This is just a big Gee Up with the announcement coming soon.

You're not suggesting that the Mundine camp would try to pull the wool over the Australian public are you Hands?

If you guys think Mundine is fighting any of the top 3 middleweights, keep dreaming..It will never happen. He will continue fighting easy beats for the remainder of his boxing career. The guy is a big scam artist.
I can just imagine him fighting another tomato can..
Let's just face it..Mundine is dragging everybody along...I will boycott his next fight because I know he will be letting us down once again..
    I'm over this *****

Fed up with mundine too. Pavlik fight aint happening. I hear Pavliks next fight is likely to be agains Sturm and thats the big fish they're chasing before clashing with Froch on 2010...

    So, Mundines options:
Green, Soliman, Siaca, Ndou, Gaele II, Jermain Taylor, Manfredo Jr (who has moved down to MW and would be his USA break), Bika

The only one I would want to see is the Bika fight but I cant see that happening as Bika is already mean and lean and dont think will drop to MW.

So the next fight for Choc is very very likely to disappoint...
