Slick fighters talk tougher than actual fighters

I love watching slick stylists more than i do aggressive fighters with limited skill (Hatton,Pavlik etc) but ..............it does make me laugh when you see guys like Mayweather,Malignaggi talk/act tough before fights, then when they get in the ring they go straight on the backfoot and look to avoid a fight rather than particiapting in one.

You got Judah who acts like he is tougher than Joe Frazier and then he fights like a ...........well

Actual fighters like Hatton,Pavlik and even more skilled FIGHTERS like Mosley,Cotto dont talk ****, but they all bring it from bell to bell.

I've never enjoyed any Malignaggi fights except the ones were he gets beaten.

    And I love my slicksters.

I don't see how you can lump Judah in with those other guys. He always comes to fight.

Those other fighters choose not to fight because its not their game, Judah chooses to fight more aggressively but he is not tough enough/lacks heart, so he gets tore up after 5 rounds instead.

Judah is a fighter whilst he is fresh but he is a punch bag when stamina starts to go.

He's tough and has the heart, just not the true champions desire or ability to pace himself. The fact that he ****ed around playing craps and fighting in the street with gang-bangers instead of locking himself in a gym all day didn't help.

I disagree about him not having heart. What he does not have is composure. Watch the baldomir fight, he loses his compsure and resorts to headbutting and fouling but he is still trying to fight the whole way through.

Err...........NO, if he had heart he would gut it out when he gets tough, he just stops punching when it gets tough because he knows he will get tore up more if he tries to win.

It takes more heart to win that it does to survive because you put yourself in danger when you TRY/dare to win.

Id respect Judah more if he kept punching and lost rather than take a beating and lost, that just tells me he does not want to look like a quitter but he is one.

No, heart is different, heart is fighting back when you're taking a pounding, showing no fear, which Judah never did. Champion determination is slugging it out through 12 hard, gruelling rounds of non-stop punishment, Judah does not love boxing enough or have the stamina to do this.

Talk is the problem, with the beasts and the slicksters. A good example is Haye who talked and talked and won't even show up to fight. Floyd talks about being the best ever but is reluctant to prove it. Talk is great if you're on the debating team.
