Kelly Pavlik Vs Carl Froch: Arum - "Could Happen As Early As Next Jan"

Aside from the other attributes, all of which are debatable, this better chin stuff is confusing... Based on what does Froch have the better chin. He got put down by 1 shot from Taylor while it took like 8 to get Pavlik down.

 

I couldn't diasagree more. Froch is lightyears better than Miranda.

 

I agree, those fights were far from desperately difficult....

 

He wasn't comparing Froch to Miranda, just when the stoppage would occur I think...

 

Froch has a better chin than Miranda? The same two guys who stopped Miranda would stop Froch.

Miranda has faster hands than Froch, and better defense. Ya, I know it's wierd to say Miranda has better defense than someone, but Froch's defense is his face.

Yup. At the time I thought Taylor won. Few months later I saw it again and scored it for Pavlik. As you say, lots of close rounds.

 

As early as January ?? Am I suppopsed to be excited for that ? We are in June you can't tell me this can't be made sooner ? Maybe I'm old school but tell me why should I go crazy for a tenative date that could happen "early next year " **** that make it in 09 ! Not 2010!! This is why fighters of today don't last !there level of inactivity the bull**** with the promoters etc ...

They're each going to have a fight in between that it looks like. Pavlik v Sturm and Froch v Bute or Hopkins

Taylor has lost all his fighting spirit in the two fights with Hopkins, after that...a shitty draw fight with Winky, really look like **** against ''the dream'' Ouma, again look unspectacular vs Spink, lost to Pavilk x2, beat the overrated shell of Lacy......So, yes, i think Froch beat a shell of the former Bad intention.
