I don't think there's an HD version of ESPN Classic. Couldn't get it even if you wanted to.

I think it will be replayed on regular ESPN. Complain to Dish Net if they do not have it and DirecTV does.

For me Classic is standard along with Espn 1 and 2. I think there are other one's but those you have to pay for.

so then dont watch it if you think the fight will suck.

Its 10 day notice...ESPN and ESPN 2 are full so it has to be Classic.

This will likely air on ESPN2 (HD) an hour or two after it premiers on ESPN Classic. If you want to see it HD, just wait a bit.

From HBO to ESPN Classic, don't know why HBO totally turned their backs on this one.

Better than nothing of course, hope it's a good fight and HBO feel silly after it.

Public reception in the US is now in the hands of ESPN... To call in Atlas or not, that will determine the enthusiasm this bout is viewed with.

I doubt it. ESPN2 doesn't broadcast Friday Night Fights in HD. Its shown on the HD channel, but, not broadcast in HD.

This is really the best thing that could have happened. We still get to see the fight and HBO saves money for fights later in the year.

Win-win for everyone. (Except David Haye of course)

The stream won't be coming from ESPN's production team, but from Germany. The replay of Vitali-Gomez on ESPN2 after ESPN classic's live airing was in HD.
