Taylor was doing to Froch what Hopkins did to Pavlik. Outclassing him for the entire fight. Strangely enough Hopkins who is in his 40s didn't run out of steam and got the win along with all the praise, Taylor had 14 seconds until he was back on top of the mountain.

Anyway, what I'm saying is Froch and Pavlik are similar fighters, although Froch has a chin of IRON and inhuman fitness so I see Froch winning. Froch will have the size advatage over Pavlik too. Froch loses bit time to a technical, slick boxer WITH STAMINA everytime.

Pavlik is not as elusive as Taylor , nor Froch as elusive as Hopkins. They will get to each other. Thats bad news for Pavlik.

So you still believe Taylor was dominating Froch like bernard did to pavlik, hey it is your opinion, but I watched a different fight and had Froch up 1 even if he did not KO Taylor.

The things that give away that Jermian Taylor is a middleweight and not a natural super middleweight are those skinny ass legs!

True story ............when i was no more than skin and bone with a bad attitude (11 year old wannabe) my trainer asked why i complained about roadwork.I explained that i couldn't understand how running 4 miles could make you box better ? he replied "show me a boxer with no calves, and i'll show you a boxer with no chin"

Taylor was beating Froch by a couple rounds, tops, before getting KOed, hardly the same as what Hopkins did to Pavlik.

Froch and Pavlik are not as similar as you imply, have about the same level chin (I might rate Pavlik's a little higher, as it took much more than one shot from Taylor to put him down).

By capping stamina are you implying that Pavlik lacks it?

    This post is pretty bad.

I dunno, a lot of boxers out there aside from heavyweights have some real chicken legs.

Yep still stand by that opinion, I really feel that Froch was stepping in with someone who was of a much higher class. And I don't think Froch knew what to do about it apart from keep walking him down. All respect to Froch though he is all heart. I prefer boxers who have a little bit of both. In fact if you mixed Froch's best qualities with Taylor's best qualities you'd get a monster of a fighter.

Great boxing match though, can't wait to watch Froch fight again. He is an animal.

I dont think Froch will get any credit, the bookies may make Taylor a slight favourite, but most boxing writers have written Froch off completely and reckon he has no chance, they will save face if Froch wins by bleating about how bad Taylor was and not how good Froch was.As ive said previously its Calzaghe v Lacy De Ja Vu.I like both guys and really cant make up my mind who i think will win,but i'd like to see Froch do the biz.:good

Yeah, exactly like Calzaghe vs Lacy....

No, Pavlik has plenty of heart and stamina. I was implying that Taylor had the blueprint to beat Froch, but didn't have the stamina or heart to push it through.

If Froch meets someone with Taylor 's skills and hand speed with a strong chin and good stamina I'm saying Froch will lose everytime.

I don't think Pavlik is that person, although for sure he has a chance to win.

I think he meant in relatation to proportion.Hearns always came to mind, huge shoulders, but calves like matchsticks. He could box and he could bang, but there was always a question mark about his chin, which probably added to the excitement.

    Gotcha. My misunderstanding then.

Inre: bold. If most ANYONE meets that hypothetical fighter they are going to lose...
