Also Ike Quartey a few years back was under appreciated.

Jose Napoles is still highly underrated...its a crime 79-7-0 with 55 Ko's he as an amateur he went 114-1-0. He was an incredibly talented boxer that would have given Leonard a tough time.

Jose Luis Castillo... damn shame how many overlook him here and severly underrate him wheen it comes to rating him among the top lightweights in history and also downplaying his abilities when it comes to proposed fantasy matchups. The dude was a damn good fighter with a more than solid lighweight resume.

 

Danny "Little Red" Lopez. All action and arguably the hardest hitting featherweight of all time (of his 42 wins only 3 were decisions.) Pretty much ruled 126 from 1976-1980, and it took no less a fighter than one Salvador Sanchez to knock Danny off the top of the mountain.

I love it! I don't know about hardest hitting but most entertaining of the network era? He's certainly at the top

 

For underrated, since I've got him the brain anyway: Harold Johnson. Technically brilliant, no obvious flaws just not flashy enough to be noticed by some.

Others: Benny Lynch, Ken Buchanan, Meldrick Taylor, and George Chuvalo

 

I'm a nurse and I work for a staffing agency. My agency sends me mostly to nursing homes. Ya know, if ya ask these little old ladies if they remember "Little Red" they light up like a christmas tree!

 

Roy Jones is underrated. He has way to many haters right now, and I don't think that he gets the respect he deserves. No matter how you look at it, beating Ruiz is an immense achievement for a man who started his boxing career at middleweight.
