Which fighter or ex-fighter u believe is/or was underrated?

dude that's great to hear. i was a kid during that time and i didn't know what the hell was going on but my old man sure as hell loved it. weekend afternoon fights helped get me into this sport and guys like danny, mancini and Matthew Saad are legendary

Anywaaaays, this board seems to massively underrate Ruben Olivares.

 

Well, he is rightfully considered as one of the most dangerous fighters H2H ever, but the consensus seems to be that his resume is lacking. I don't agree. His resume is as good as anyone's, he just suffers from the fact that he never had a good nemesis.

dude it's not just this forum but the boxing world in general. Just cause the guy lost when he got old and stepped up in weight people forget he fought 12 times a year for his first 50 or so fights and in his prime had something like an 88% knockout record. He was an animal with serious skills. Who could also kill your entire ****ing family with his left hook.

AND Olivares brought Little Red back from the edge of the abyss. Danny had a rough time after he lost a title eliminator to Chacon. He lost two fights in 1975 he definitely should have won. Then he came roaring back, beat Olivares, and the rest is history!

 

Two of the most exciting fighters ever in a ring together, how the hell could that fight NOT have been awesome
