If a beyond past it, coming off two damaging brutal losses and blown up Corrales(RIP) was able to go 12 then I'm sure JMM can.

 

Clotteys head weighs more than Juan Manual Marquez and his brother. Jmm would get squashed.

 

Clottey easy, Marquez simply isn't a welter, and shouldn't be fighting top welters.
This will be shown in his fight against Floyd.

Don't think he gets squashed especially not against Clottey who we still don't know how good he really is. JMM is no the type of fighter I would pick him to get squashed against ANYONE let alone an unproven Clottey.

 

He's been in with Margarito and is a huge welterweight. Plus his head is the size of Juan Diaz.

Seriously though I have no problem with you doubting Clotteys skills, we all know JMM is superior in that area but Clottey would dwarf him.

 

Like being with Margarito is serious stuff. Anyway the size different might be a factor for sure, I'm not saying JMM wins this but he won't get starched in quick fashion like people claim.

 

You think he could hurt clottey? C'mon Judah was small compared to this dude. He could easily campaign at 154. Juan's a warrior and a brilliant technician, and if you don't think he'd be out early that's fine. But I'd be hard pressed to say he could go the distance when Clottey would be eating his shots like breath mints.

 

Nope I never said he can hurt Clottey, all I'm saying is that he can go far enough in this one. I'm just disagreeing with people who claim Clottey will thrash him in 3 or 5 rounds.

Corrales didnt go 12...he went only 10 and was knocked down twice, another round and he would have been stopped.

The size difference is bigger between Corrales-Marquez vs Clottey, it would play a bigger part in this fight too
