I like the $1,000 fight bonus idea. To me that's a nice aspect to borrow from the UFC and what not.

Rodela gets the decision. Scores a bit wide, but the SD isn't surprising. Great night of boxing overall. I know I've said it once, but it's worth repeating-this is a great idea and I hope the concept takes off

The U 21's nearly ****ed it up aswell, although while in the senior it was Cork who had all the wides it was the other way round in that. Tipp had a crazy amount of wides and ****ed up so many goal chances.

That U21 team has seriously potential if things click, I'd say the same with the senior but they need more work. Thankfully with Clare next there should be still some room for error as far as performance goes but things will need to be upped big time from the Quarter-final match.

On tonights main event I missed the first 2 rounds(I did listen to them though) but I thought the other 4 were split 2-2. However with Garcia being lucky not to have a knockdown called against him maybe Rodela was the deserved winner.

 

Good card, good matchups, good commentary. Can't wait for the next one.
