as usual Roach has a whole shitload of doubters before the fight. Roach always gets the last laugh though.

As far as damage to his fighter, Floyd is the easiest fight for Pac

Cotto is slightly bigger and stronger than Floyd, moreso than Pac. Im not sure how Manny would react to Cottos body punches

spot-on. this could be a ploy by roach to make floyd fight pac and what better way to get under floyd's skin is to tell him that he is the easiest opponent.

 

Problem with Roach saying that is that he already said that a fight with Floyd would be a tough fight for Manny to win...He said that he thought that Pac could win if he fought the right fight, but it would be tough, he said that Floyd wouldnt engage Pac and would try and force Manny to walk into his shots..

On the other hand, when saying that it would be an easier fight then Mosley, I agree. I personally dont think that Pac could beat either, but a fight with Shane would force Pac to almost be perfect.

I think that Cotto would attack Pac to the body and Im not sure that he would hold up to fight.

With Floyd his style would allow Pac to stay in the fight longer.

 

This is why pac's coming battle with welters is so interesting, i bet a lot of experts will be again divided on how this fight will turn out and predicting whose gonna be victorious..

With that said, i can't wait to know who will be pac's opponent on his next fight..

 

I agree with Roach 1000%.

I'd rather see pac against PBF rather than the monsters Cotto and Mosley.

PBF will run, do his thing on the rope, shoulder roll, etc. Volume punching will beat him.

Against Cotto or mosley, Pac wil find himself in a situation where he will really get hurt by every single punch from his stronger opponent. Mosley is actually the worst matchup out there for Pac. He is bigger, has great stamina, great chin and great power.

 

Void will not fight Cotto, Mosely, Margarito and has already refused to fight Pac. Roach wants this fight for some reason and he is usually right.

 

This is nearly 100% correct, except for the fact that after floyd/marquez numbers come out, there will be no way to justify giving floyd as much as FIFTY percent of the purse. He should get only 40, unless I'm wrong and the marquez fight eclipses expectations, but it will fall short.
