tomorrow is the day Joshua Clottey gets decapitated

Ive just rewatched judah clottey and changed by prediction to cotto by ko maybe even early. When judah let his hands go in their fight two things can be observed, clottey does nothing (harold ledarman 'he just looks at judah'), secondly his shell defense is not that good, judah was wacking his arms away from his face and body regularly.

Clottey has good footwork but hardly ever uses it, in the judah fight he would occasionally use a quick step in to land a lead right hand but i dont know whether that is going to work against cotto who always has a high guard.

Lastly, clottey's durability is slightly overrated. He relies more on his shell defence to not get hit cleanly rather than a granite chin. In other words i have a feeling if cotto lands a good combo to the body hes going to get hurt. The only reason clottey even gets hit to the body is because he doesnt move his feet and get out of range. In the judah fight there are entire rounds where clottey just stands in front of judah exposing his ribs. Not a good idea against cotto.

One good thing about clottey though which will work against cotto is the right uppercut he possesses, its compact fast and sneaky.

 

i have cotto by a brutal KO, clottey will be competitive early on, but then cotto will wear him down, and i see a brutual KO for cotto about 9-12

 

I just dont get what people are seeing in clottey, skills win fight and cotto beats him in every department.

 

I like Cotto to win this fight aswell, But it don't always work that way bro.
Styles defo dictate fight's.

 

i think clottey has good heart, but tomorrow we will know if he is one of the best at WW...beating Cotto will be a huge upset imo.

 

Clottey does have better defense, and seems to be really tough so I see Cotto by UD.

 

yes clottey will have a lot of heart and it will go some rounds, but i think clottey's chin is just ok,.....i think cotto will win in spectacular fashion, and will have people talking about him as p4p fighter again IMO

 

Yep i see this too, clottey will be hurt to the body.
