I watched the fight with family. My grandma was so worried because she thought Hatton died.

Pac's first round right hook roll under KD after Hatton joked about it in 24/7 or PBF knocking Hatton into the ring post and down with his infamous check-hook

    Both impressed me.

Pacquiao's brute force and precision (bang on the jaw) was out of this world. Add to the way he set it up with a feint and you have an all-time KO. Worth watching in boxing schools for sure.

PBF's KO is another one for the students. How to KO a guy without actually attacking. Hatton's lunging in, PBF's balance is looking very good, his stance, the timing had to be perfect, and the way Hatton was sent straight into a turnbuckle was the cherry on the cake.

On top of that, PBF's KO came after 2 (or 3?) rounds of top class boxing. I've rarely seen such a high proportion of clean punches landing over and over again. He was working Hatton down piece by piece, almost like the guys who make sculptures with the chisel.

I liked the technique on Floyd's punch more. Only a few fighters in history could pull that punch off. I liked the results of Pac's KO more.

Pacquiao didn't allow the use of skills in that fight, he just overpowered Hatton who was charging in. As soon as he hurt Hatton he knew that this guy can't take his punch and it was over from there, there was no room for skill in this one just serious display of power.

Mayweather fight you can see more skill there since it lasted long enough for Mayweather to adapt, counter, move and so on.

I'd go with Pacquiao's. But the fact Mayweather did it to a prime Hatton while moving backwards is very impressive. He didn't even load up and he had him on ***** street.

Undisputedly the left that ruined Hatton. A gameplan executed perfectly and within two rounds- can't beat that.

    Both..

But considering PBF was stepping backwards while throwing the hook!!!
That's some SRR type **** right there.
(Great punch, An it didn't look like he threw it with everything)

    It's a shame Floyd don't commit.

i would say floyd, floyd got a live/undefeated hatton in that fight....i think ricky was still there in the pac fight, but hatton lost something after the floyd fight.....so i would say floyd.

Same here....I think the Ricky that showed up against Mayweather was mentally superior to the one that showed up against Manny.

Hatton was undefeated, super confident and in peak physical condition. I think Floyd's punch had a bit more skill to it though Pacman's was pure power and thing of beauty.

They are both good but at the time perhaps the enviroment I watched the Mayweather fight in has an effect.

Mayweather's was technically a bit better, Pac's was thrown from the floor. Both were great to watch, but in terms of sheer excitement I have to go with Pac's, even though I'm a big Hatton fan.
