Clottey is a durable guy so im gonna go with a decision but i would be surprised and impressed if Cotto could stop Clottey.

A non decision conclusion would indeed be surprising. I too have Cotto winning on the cards.

Clottey never fought anyone with Cotto's power and abilities, not even close. I know Judah hits hard for one round and a half and that doesn't really count. Clottey is in for hell. :yep

In clottey's defense, Margarito broke the welter weight record of punches thrown against him and perhaps did so with tainted gloves. I don't see Clottey's punch resistance being an issue in this fight rather I think his lack of a punch output will be his downfall.

Listen guys cotto vs clottey is NOT gona be competitive. Clottey is gona lose, he might last the distance but cotto realy destroys people with his power. Hes gona show off his boxing ability for the first 5 rounds and then realy up then pace and get tired by round 10. And by then it would be too late for clottey to catch up

OK OK if you think Im an idiot bring this up in a couple of days and call me a dickhead. p.s most of you guys know that my predictions are very accurate.

Clottey broke his right hand and ran out of gas in that fight early and went into inactive defensive mode all the way to the 12th. He might be able to take punches well enough but can he handle the body punches Cotto is well known for?, especially with his stamina issues I can't see him taking those punches well. This is a major step up for him.

I think this fight will be decided by the control exerted in the first few rounds by Cotto - if he gets on top and moves as fluently (though not expansively) as he can I can see him controlling it and taking the fight out of Clottey. But, if Clottey matches him and stays with him he may be stronger in the stretch. Its a good match and still (imo) a brave one for Cotto so soon after Margo.
