He very well could but the mother****er needs to step up his level of competition and start fighting the big boys at 168. The guy is already 29 and he ain't getting any younger so he needs to stop fighting scrubs and take on some serious challengers for a change.
There's no doubt in my mind that he will. He is championship material and the trained eyes have already spotted this. The little things he does gets unnoticed but it's ok. Haters will feel stupid when he gets to the top. Bute and all those guys are nothing compared to him. Green is coming to take names.
He got nothing right now on his resume, he's still far from guy like, Froch, Bute, Kessler, even Ward or Direll have more chances to get to the top before Green. Green always got excuses, sick, promoter trouble, not enough money, etc. He's strong and quick but wide and mentally a bit fragile. In hard fights he seem to crumble under the pressure and thats make him less efficient. He got 29 fights and still fighting guy like Carl daniels, and took a long time to knock him out. Daniels have been knocked out faster by Andy Lee (only 7 fights) and guy like Alcine, a 154lbs. His bets wins are Ravelo, Codrington or Williams, but even there, Rubin Williams was destroyed by Ward and Green only manage to get a lazy UD over Rubin. Still not impressed yet, still waiting. He will be ready one day, but this will be to late, tempus fugit...
