If he can't beat Duddy it proves he is ****ing useless!

He got a gift decision against that journeyman (have forgotten his name) when it should have been a draw, then lost last time out.

Barker, Macklin and Moore would stand him on his head and probably stop him.

I've seen Sinky fight twice, once in Letterkenny, he was good but unspectacular, but he was spectacular against Coyle.

duddy and sinclair are both quality...its a good fight if it happens

but you asked about sinclair...if neil is back on form...he can knock anyone out...he is a world class puncher...but i think duddy would be to strong for him

Sinclair is a career WW whose brightest moment was in his tilt for the WW world title when he stuck Daniel Santos on his ass in the first, before being taken out by the Puerto Rican in the second.

At this point in his career Neil is as close to shot as you're gonna get; he's lost four of his last eight, three by stoppage, and not in good company either.

I've never rated Duddy, but he should win this one at a canter. Sinclair is just a name for the record; a somebody who used to be a something, but is now a nothing.

I was a huge Sinclair fan back in the day, but the facts are the facts.

Duddy is a seriously strange case.

He has never appeared to be building toward anything, whether a Euro title shot or world honours - instead just having a series of 10 round fights with old/not very good opponents.

His weaknesses were apparent from the start I would say. Any impartial boxing fan could see it. But he was a useful cash cow for certain people to throw at the uneducated masses.

Things started to fall apart after the Walid Schmidt debacle; thats when "everyone" woke up. The Pavlik fight, the ultimate money making goal of the whole enterprise, fell apart and then Duddy lost to some unknown journeyman shortly after.

I think the plan was to make a **** load of money off a losing effort to Pavlik, then disappear off the scene. I don't think that was Duddy's plan, he's always come across as an honest if naive sort, but it was definitely in the minds of the promoter/management types.
