How much weight do you think Cotto and Clottey have put on so far?

Cotto came in at 146 and Clottey 147.

Surely both have got to be over 150 by now.

I think Cotto will be around 156, Clottey around 160.

Seriously drained fighters drink up like 3-4 pounds of liquid. Add food, fruits, vegetables, all kind of **** to gain energy and you are in the late 150s in no time.

Yeah. I'm not too sure about Cotto I don't know what they usually come into the ring at, but I know Clottey seems to hydrate quite abit, and given Mosley and Margarito both enter at 160, I think he would aswell. Right now both would definately be over the 150 mark, Clottey probably quite a bit over.

Do fighters usually gain the bulk of the weight that will have put on between the weigh in and the ring entrance the day of the weight in, the day of the fight, or is the added weight evenly distributed over the coarse of both days?

IMO Clottey will be the physical bigger man tomorrow night - hope Miguel can handle him without much trouble...

Yeah, will add about another 6-7 till tomorrow at the HBO weigh-in.

I'd say Cotto comes in about 162,Clottey the same.

I guess that answers my earlier question. I'm surprised to hear fighters add so much weight the day of the fight. :thumbsup

Miguel will not weigh in over 160 lbs right before he gets into the ring...still you're right with Clottey being 162... :good

Altough it happened only once and at a fight over the 147 limit(149) Clottey came in at 170 lbs on fight night ading an astonishing 21 lbs overnight.

Julio Diaz is another master of gaining weight overnight.
I remember he was 152 on fight night against Castillo after weighing 134,5.
It was also reported he blew up a whoopin 155 after weighing in 135 for Rolando Reyes.
