Ah yes, that really convinced me He was 157 for Corley and looked about the same with Branco and those fights were at 140. Since this fight has the weigh-in way before the fight I think both will be ove 160 altough usually they aren't.
They gain most of the pounds immediately because they lose them due to dehydration. After they drink fast a lot of liquids and gains most of the pounds. If you do sport weight yourself before and after and you will see how much weight you lose from the dehydration.I am around 190 pounds and I lose around 10 pound after a very hart training.
A little surprising that fighters would add so much weight a mere few hours after weighing in. Personally my weight tends to fluctuate and after abiding by a regular diet that consists of lesser portions, I find it hard to regain my previous appetite. I was thinking that it would take at least 3-4 more hours to put on that kind of weight.
That was against Corrales at a catch weight of 150. Astonishing indeed. You would think the added weight would have made him sluggish.

Pointing out that he came in at 170 against Corrales at a catchweight with not mentioning that he was 156 against Judah is just exaggerating things.
i dont understand why fighters gain so much weight in the space of a day its extremley dangerous and bad for your heart it really wears your body out and shortens your career and is allso the reason boxers nowadays only fight an average of 3 times a year.
