Ok idiot. Boxing is not just a sport. It's business, it's a job aswell. The top black boxers that you must be talking about are in the higher weight class. There were no black boxer that could've face Pacquiao. Not to mention that Pacquiao is already fighting quality/named opponents. If you can name some boxers that's an ELITE that could've face Pacquiao earlier in his career, and could they be compare with the 3 Mexicans(MAB, EM, JMM) that he fought. And please don't ****ing say Guzman. Besides, the ****ing colour of a person doesn't make the boxer good. ***!

 

well, dont know what the hell the poster is trying to convey but if you look at pac's resume, it is missing one type of fighter. pacquaio ahs never fought a great defensive fighter. beating marquez, hatton, dlh, mroales and barrare was impressive but none of those guys were defensive wizards. he have his opportunity to fight a guy like that against mayweather

you gotta get it correct, marques is a great counter puncher, but he still an offensive fighter. he was trading with pac. why do you think he got dropped in both fights. hell look at his last fight with diaz.:deal

 

He was dropped by Pac because he couldn't cope with Pacquiao's speed no to mention that JMM is a slow starter. Counter punching is a defensive technique he moves back and wait for his opponent to come at him. He is hardly seen as an aggressor. He looked bad in the JDiaz fight. Why? SLOW STARTER. I guess Mayweather is and offensive fight since of most punches that he throws are counter punches. :bbb:bbb

JMM and FM are both defensive masters, I think Fraud Gayweather is better but JMM is still one the best defensive boxers out there.

 

defens on what you consider a defensive fighter. mayweather and hopkins are defenisve wizards, they rarely get hit clean. marquez, while very skilled, tends to trade with his opponts at times. his face is usually maked up after his fights. he traded with pacquiao. you not gonna see mayweather do that.

Fair enough. But it's PACQUIAO, PAC-QUI-AO, Marquez was forced to trade with Pacquiao. It was the same with MAB-Pac and EM - Pac II and III. JMM is about 80% defense and 20% Offense. Mayweather is not different.

 

We aren't talking about fighters who could've fought in the big 3's place. Pac took on guys who didn't even belong in the ring with him and who didn't deserve title shots in between fighting those 3.

They're called tune up fights. Even then people knew they were just tune up fights. The general idea is you take on lower risk fights between the big fights so you don't get any ring rust. It's not as if those fights were supposed to be relevant. It's not as if people are going around calling those wins great wins. A lot of boxers have tune up fights, so why criticize Pac for doing the same?

 

None of the tune up fights were against capable black fighters. It's been 8 years since Pac has done this. The jig is up lol...
