it seems to be that nonito donaire would give way to countryman 18 year old marvin sonsona in targeting the wbo 115 belt of carita lopez.

the sonsona-lopez fight is already scheduled for next month. And with Donaire signified his intentions of moving up, the cazares bout is the most like option as donaire aims for his second belt.

chances are the winner would become the legit champion as darchinyan would most likely vacate the belt of he beats agbeko...

another soft touch for donaire. donaire needs to fight someone legitimate, he's losing respect. and he's too tall ofr his weight. don't get me wrong I rate him him in my top 15 p4p fighters, and I think he's a great fighter but his level of competition is very disapointing.

He's too tall? I didn't know there was a height limit in boxing I thought all that mattered was if you could make the weight in your weight class.

I guess you learn something new every day.

Donaire should eat Cazares up. Great style matchup for him.

I'm really looking forward to Sonsona-Lopez though. Sonsona looked like a BEAST against Singwancha. Really does look like a young cross between Pacquiao and Donaire.

(and if he ends up sucking, then I mean Bobby Pacquiao and Glenn Donaire)

cazares is only the logical choice for donaire's next fight...he is dubbed as the mainevent and must fight a legitimate and marketable contender or else his fight would be upstaged by luevano-concepcion..

Donaire now fighting an IVAN CALDERON OPPONENT, a former light flyweight champ? Floydish choice: good name competition but badly undersized... :patsch

I don't get it... how can Donaire's career go that wrong? He was supposed to fight Montiel at SFW at some point... :-(

hmm says... it's fine but Top Rank is pretty much doing a poor job with competitive match-up for Donaire. He needs to lobby for better opponents if he wants to get somewhere with his talented skill level.

the only way for the wba title is through cazares...darchinyan would most likely vacate it..if he lose, he would prefer to keep the ibf belt

montiel said the he is having a hard time making the 115 pounds...that's the main reason the donaire-montiel fight didn't happen in the philippines
