Mayweather is hyping this fight with Marquez like if Marquez has a chance. You clearly don't believe that do you? But you believe that he believes himself that he's the best fighter ever?

Mayweather doesn't believe he's the best fighter ever. Maybe of this era but not ever. No fighter can take that away from SRR in todays era of boxing.

 

So. If Floyd moved to down to 135 to fight Marquez would you complain?

What if this happens.

The fight is at 143. Marquez weighed 141... at 135. Floyd is already down to 145-147.

If they fought at 135 there weights would be exactly the same. The only difference here is. Neither is going to cut any weight.

Margarito never offered ****. Arum offered him a deal to fight Floyd but it required Floyd to resign with Arum.

Arum offered 8 million for Margarito and less money for bigger threats. Why less for bigger threats? Floyd declined. Margarito had his chance and declined before as well.

Hatton challenged him for his title. If Hatton didn't think he could fight at 147 why he moved up? (You claim Margo and Floyd fought at 147 so whats the issue) - Hatton won a title at 147 and moved up to fight Floyd at 147. Whats the issue?

There's a difference between losing 7lbs and cutting 7lbs of water weight. When you lose 7lbs normally we are talking about someone needing to cut muscle to move down. Such as Roy Jones going back to LHW.

Mayweather naturally weighs 147 on fight night. He would have to cut 7lbs not lose it. So again nothing would have been different had the fought at 140.

How is that contradicting. Margarito is bigger, and Hatton and Floyd are the same size.

Lets look at this.

Mayweather bought himself out of a contract with Arum after Judah.

Mayweather was offered an 8 million dollar fight with a contract tie. Meaning he had to sign a contract that would make Arum his promoter for his next how ever many fights.

Floyd was pondering the idea but then Arum told him he would only receive 5-6 million for Hatton, Mosley, Cotto and 8 million for Margarito. Less money for bigger threats? Why take that deal. Arum also said the DLH fight is out of the question..

So instead of fighting Margarito for 8 million and the WBO title with contract ties.

He fights the Lineal Champion for 8 million + PPV revenue and promotes himself.

 

No surprise at all here. He stays in shape.

 

I think PBF is close to unstoppable at 140. JMM is in for a tough battle.

 

He doesn't have to make 140, but he absolutely could if he needed to. Because he's the star, he can dictate terms of fights and make them at the weight where he doesn't need to drain at all, but he could easily be fighting at 140. Hell, I'd bet he could still make 138 if he really tried.

He usually bashed on all opponents he fought when he hyped the fights. Talked smack about DLH, Gatti, Judah, Baldomir and Hatton. This is the first time he's calm.

 

Arum seems to be more interested in making a Cotto fight if he beats Clottey than a fight with Mayweather.
