now i concede that at 145 floyd is too much for pacman and floyd takez a MD

of course at 146 floyd takez a UD and knockz pacman out at 147

i admit if they fought at 144 it would be a split decision that would go either way depending on which one of them came in closer to 144 without going over

    HOWEVER

at 143 there can be no doubt that pacman winz a MD against floyd

also therez a great chance that if they fought at 118 pacman could actually kill floyd in the ring and take the pound for pound title for good

I don't think Floyd can KO/TKO Pacquiao. If FLoyd wins against Pacquiao it would only be a decision. SD/MD/UD.

Lol 2lbs difference. Pac has supreme difficulty with the excellent boxer and counter puncher Marquez. July 18th will reveal whether Mayweather has what it takes to beat Pac.

Just like the Julio Diaz-Paulie Malignaggi catch weight of 138.5-lbs, let's have a (147+140)/2 = 143.5-lbs catch weight. Weighing at fight time in the ring! That would be great!

2lbs will make hardly any difference to the outcome of any fight.

    Floyd would beat Pacquiao regardless.

I think Pac and Mosley both stop Floyd. Hence why he will price himself out of both fights.

Floyd can probably make 142 or lower comfortably because he is weighing 145 now with a month to go till fight night so It wont matter what weight its at because Floyd should win but should is not always guaranteed.

There weight difference you are talking about is 2 pounds. The human body varies by 4 pounds during any point in a 24 hour period. The idea that 2 pounds would be the difference between winning and losing a fight is total nonsense.

i think pac-floyd is an even fight pac has the speed and power, and floyd has defense and is the smarter fighter.....i still lean towards floyd but barely at the moment....

i think floyd beats mosley easily, and cotto.....but cotto is the toughest fight for both manny and floyd imo.

Floyd and Marquez are different fighters. Yeah they both are real good counter punchers and excellent boxers but the difference is that Marquez doesn't back down and engages his opponents. Mayweather is a very good counter puncher but he won't take that risk of going at it with pacquiao.

I'm not really sure if you guys really saw the hatton, delahoya and diaz fight where Pacquiao didn't look like the same boxer when he fought Marquez in their second fight.

Yeah coz look at what Cotto did to Mosley. Mosley was the faster and stronger boxer that night but look how cotto took care of business. Even with his reputation as somebody who has a border line weak chin, he still outboxed shane who is faster and definately punches harder.

And vice versa. How Marquez will fight Mayweather will show how to penetrate Mayweather. Marquez is an excellent counter puncher and his ring generalship is ****ing great. Difference is that Marquez likes to mix it up.
