According to Espns's Dan Rafael anyway, although considering his article on Mike Tyson, I hope its not on some soap Opera/Tabloid gossip Hack BS.

However if true, talk about a bad couple of months for british boxing fans.....

First Hatton's loss, then Haye's Injury, Setanta's troubles, now this, we're definitely cursed or something!

Ah well, it'l probably be for an interim title or something, since Warren wants to keep the June 27th Date.

Unless something is confirmed then at present they are just rumours. I'm really ****ed off with all of these fights going under at the last minute lately.

Of course the talk is that Peterson will come in as a replacement should Kotelnik pull out.

That would be an even better fight.

Outclassed by the best boxer in the world or not, the most famous boxer from these shores losing by a 2nd round totally sparked out of his senses KO by somebody not exactly renowned for having freakish one punch Ko power sure sounds unlucky to me. Hell even Freddie Roach admitted after the fight that he was talking garbage when he said it'd be over within three rounds.

Add to that a gameplan for the matchup against the pound for pound number one designed by a two year old (i.e. you're bigger than, so bully your way through him, taking shots to the chin en route) alongside the toubles in the camp (Floyd snr/Lee Beard) and my friend, here we have some shady voodoo for definites!

If Kotelnik cancels this because of a tooth infection he should be stripped of his title.

@mugen82. Do you really think it was Floyd senior's plan for Hatton to fight like that then? Luck had nothing to do with it. Hatton was beaten by a much better fighter than him on a night where he announced himself to the world.

I hope you're not suggesting that Hatton was given that crude plan. From what I can gather from interviews before and since the fight from various people,Floyd Snr gave Hatton a good gameplan.Whether Hatton is good enough to execute it is another matter but he could certainly have given himself a better chance

Exactly. It's hilarious the way people choose to ignore precedent when it comes to Hatton.

kotelnik dogging out because of a tooth infection is bloody shameful, he deserves to be reliquished of the belt if any of the news is true

If Nick Griffen had any balls he would offer to stand in for Kotelnik - they could fight for his seat in the European parliament. Boxing is the only true democracy.

****in furious if this gets cancelled.

Was looking forward to Haye-Wlad and Khan-Kotelnik for so long, at least their are other cards on that day aswell.

Anyone know if Setanta have got the JML-Lonchti fight aswell as AA-Oral?

Also Ortiz-Maidana will be one helluva fight
