Where's Lennox's knighthood?

Like the Oscars, it's become nothing but a farcical popularity contest. Lennox probably hasn't done enough arse kissing.

 

Because hes not a true British hero like Nick Faldo

 

The honours do regularly annoy me. You'll find that pretentious, hypocritical yuppies like Bono and Geldoff get honoured but people who have actually done something for the country don't. We should start a petition as there are a lot of people who feel the same about Lewis not being knighted. It's a disgrace.

 

Good examples. What a condescending **** Bono is.

 

He's got a CBE, which is one below a knighthood (and he's got some recognition by Canada, who he represented at the Olympics). I don't see what the big deal is here to be honest. Everyone knows the honours system is a sham and isn't really done in proportion to people's achievements.

 

Knighthoods for black colonials? Who associate with wannabe be gangster like Frank and Eugene Maloney, never.

 

Hes got a MBE and a CBE, I'm sure the knighhood will be forthcoming.

 

It's probably got something to do with the fact that he's Canadian....

Prince Phillip has put his foot down and demanded no more blacks be knighted.

 

Yet the Irishman Terry Wogan has a knighthood.

 

Don't agree with Terry Wogan being knighted either. Although at least he's worked and lived in britain for a few decades. Lennox moved over to Britain breifly to get the fans support and lives in America now.

 

Lennox was born here and lived the first 6 years of his life here. You know that right?
