Not so. He's clown in saying Marquez is better than Pac because as Pac per record has beaten him. He's right in saying that Pac is greatest Asian fighter of all time. Nothing contradictory in that. I think Sugar is contradicting himself by giving Marquez conditional accolades.

Just admit he's a legendary boxing historian when you agree with him, but a clown when you dont.

Why is it that anytime someone has a different opinion than some people, those people tend to start with belittlement and name calling. why does his different opinion make him a clown?:?

Marquez could be smarter if he avoided knock downs from Pac. I predict Marquez will get knocked out by Floyd because he cannot carry his speed and power in a weight division Floyd is comfortable in. You're overrating Marquez just to put down Pac. Wait till Pac fight Floyd and you will see that Pac's speed and power which he has proven to carry in welterweight division will be too much for Floyd.

How can he declare somebody better out of speculation? Sugar said depending on the results of July 18, Marquez is better than Pac. WTF! He should base his assessment on the two fights these two fighters had. What if Marquez loses which is of greater probability?

That's prob why he say's JMM is better. Based on those 2 fight's. He is prob waiting on the results of the 18th to declare if JMM is the best of the era, IMO.
(Between those 2, meaning a PBF victory will eclipse any Pac win)

In both of your statements, you said "probably." Enough said.

Who gives a flying **** what Bert Sugar thinks?

Sugar is the most overrated, and useless boxing historian in history. His opinion means less to me than about 80% of the posters on this forum.
