I don't find it that hard to beleive. This summer there is no major football tournament and though during the football season the EPL may be their priority, right now the Haye-Klitschko fight (before it was cancelled,) was probably the biggest event they had on their books. It was the only reason a few people I knew kept subscribing to Setanta over the summer.

If he didn't know if he was getting paid then it must affect his focus and it isn't the ideal way to prepare for a fight but unless anyone has hard evidence to the contrary I think he was injured and it's just a coincidence that Setanta have been in the ****.

Well I disagree. You don't fight Wlad for nothing. And when the fight was pulled, it looked highly likely that would be the case.

I'm not cutting Haye any slack whatsoever. The guy did SO MUCH talking in the beginning he just HAD TO back it all up, sore back or no sore back.

If this is true, i cannot believe, why Haye was not talking the truth. Wladimir wants the fight and the event. So he could talk to K2 and ask for the money. I believe they have find a way to make the fight happend.

Cannot believe this **** from Haye. And this shows how confident he was of winning the fight.

All the talk was nothing but talk.

And know it is over. Haye has to fight his way to deserve a shot.

Next year for example when Wladimir has his mandatories out of the way.

If this is true that he passed on the fight because of money then I just lost even more respect for this bogus former crusierweight champion. First, the hand then the back, please! Let him go in with just a top ten heavyweight and he will get KTFO!

Here is a short list of guys who will dismantle him who are not even the top of the division.

    1. Arreola
    2. Peter
    3. Brewster
    4. Maskaev
    5. Thompson

Further, I am not sure that he would even be the best heavyweight in the UK! I think that tough ass cabbie Martin Rogan might smash his china-chin.

And I guess in your simple mind ("injuried?") you believe god exists until proven otherwise as well? The burden of proof lies solely on Haye to prove he was injured.

    Prove to who?
K2 aren't going to complain. Theres money to be made in the future here.
Their the only ones who have the right to question the injury
