Are there any fighters today from 160-175 that can beat Mikkel Kessler? cuz it seems everybody is making him out to be something indestructable/Unbeatable and he hasnt beaten not 1 fighter with a name,and everybody is forgetting dat he waz beaten by a overrated feather-slapper,so to me i see a couple of fighters being able to easily defeat kessler!!!
Old Calzaghe whopped prime Kessler. IN his younger years Calzaghe struggled badly with Reid. Kessler is good but he is SERIOUSLY OVERRATED.
I don't think he's overrated. I think he's rated just about fine. Dawson might beat him, Hopkins prob would (based mostly on styles); but both would be good fights. He's got a great record in terms of dominance even the names are not there yet. Nobody apart from the two names mentioned has a chance.
Only Hopkins below 175 would have a chance. Froch would be stood on his head and stopped late, Dawson jabbed to death, Bute stopped. He has already embarrassed Andrade and Mundine, and would beat Pavlik easily.
He's rated just fine. I think Hopkins would clearly beat him. There are plenty of guys who COULD like Dawson,Bute,Johnson,Abraham,etc.
That name is familiar...Mikkel Kessler. I remember there being a fighter named Mikkel Kessler....but he disappeared like 2 years ago.

Maybe Bhop. Kessler would ko Bute, and outbox Pavlik and ko him. I would love to C the coward Pavlik fight Kessler.
Kessler and Guzman are an example for mythical fighters that don't fight we are not sure that they exist but they will forever live in this forum
Yeah Kessler is the greatest fighter after Calzaghe and he lives to improve his legacy. I would like to see him K.O Pavlik.
You have some how extrapolated from the Andrade and Mundine fights that Kessler would deal with Froch, Bute and Dawson with ease. That defies belief and I am actually very shocked.
Kessler is getting all this credit for being less competitive than old BHOP, shot Eubanks, Robin Reid and Sakio Bika in defeat. Rounds 6 to 12 Calzaghe outclassed him and Kessler was badly winded by a feather fisted fighter (JC). When I think of ovverated I think of Kessler.
Nobody beats him at 168. And only hopkins could beat him at 175 if he can take his jab away from him. And anyone gets hurt when hit in the solar plexes. feather fisted fighter or not. He got caught with a great punch by calzaghe. And even Calzaghe said that kessler took him deeper than any fighter he faught.
