Don't be fooled by all the hype. This is only the second time cotto is facing a fighter who currently holds a belt(not counting that stripped BS). The first one was margarito(and we know how all of that turned out). Hopfully he does a little better this time. :hey If cotto loses tonight then i guess we will know why he has always been afraid to fight the top dogs.

He started facing beltholders a long time ago, probablky 02 or 03.

Just for you:Margarito and Clottey aren't titleholders at the time Cotto fought them.Does anyone care? No.

he started fighting belt holders along time ago eh? who?

Cottos best win is squeaking out a win by a point(on my scorecard) against the legend mosley. who had him backing up in the championship rounds.

His win against zab dosent mean much to me, as zab has been on the downside for a while and isnt a true welter. Also, cotto had to throw low blows when he was hurt....

Other then that, he hasnt faced any high level opponents. I guess torres and malliangi and maybe quintina are good wins too. but hardly championship reign quality.

Lets see how cotto pass's his retry test. :bart

He's not lying. Like it or not Cotto picked up vacant belts.

A win over Mosley is something to brag about for anyone at any point.

Zab wa the former undisputed champ and the fight was awesome, got clocked clean on the chin, had that bad cut in the mouth and didn't stop.

Torres,Malignaggi,Quintana,Margarito,Maussa,Corley,N'dou,Urkal,Bailey,Sosa,Bazan are all good wins and I'm forgeting some.
    His resume is very good.
This ain't no retry test,it's his 6th top 10 WW contender he faces in 8 ww fights.

Cotto's never fought a champ to wrestle their belt. Yup, just the way it's played out. I believe Cotto would fight anyone, including Williams and a Margarito rematch. He seems a very genuine, honest boxer. I still have the same amount of respect for him though as I don't really care about the belts so much. Just the fights and names on resumes.

It's Arum that guides him. I'm hoping he calls out Money May if he wins tonight.

I think he's saying Cotto has never took a defending champions belt.

Also, Zab is taller and at least as big as Cotto.

Yer but who has there been? It's just the way it's played out. Who gives a **** how he gets some shitty belt? It's the fights that he takes that matters.

Quintana, Judah, Mosely, Margarito, Clottey is a great WW resume.

-Although I admit Arum doesn't want to know Williams exists.

from what i can remember, their was hatton for the wba/ibf and i think witter for the wbc. Other then mosley. those easily wouild have been better then anyone faced.

at welter their was margarito/paul williams for the wbo, and cintron for the ibf. and we saw how one of those played out already, and im pretty sure williams would beat cotto.

cotto is a great fighter, but people putting him in their top 5 p4p lists must be on that jack daniels or somthing:tired
