You're right. Age would have absolutely NO influence on anything here :patsch

    Calzaghe.

He is older and weights a lot more.

P4P I'd have to go with Calzaghe. William's fights at much lighter weight, and one can expect the smaller guys to throw more punches.

Williams have better stamina, we have to remember that Williams fight hard with steam behind his punches from round 1 to 12, Calzaghe has great stamina also but he usually doesn't come on until at least the 4th round and another thing about Calzaghe is that he slaps throughout the whole fight without any steam in his punches.

They both have a great work rate and throw many punches, but since Paul hits a little harder (for his weight) and throws more accurate punches (so it seems now) I give him the edge, even though Joe might throw a few more per round.

Calzaghe is much more proven in this regard.

The only person I ever really remember neutralizing his work rate was the great Bernard Hopkins.

I mean, how many punches did Williams throw in the first Quintana fight?

williams. Cal throw slapping shots. if he would actually punch then his stats will drop. not to mention that he fight old, slow and bums.

I voted for Williams because he throws actual punches, whereas Clazaghe just flails his arms about like a ****** who doesn't want to eat her breakfast.
