Well...Lawton wasn't as elusive or awkward as McAllister.

Murray had no problem walking him down and teeing off, it was a domination.

    Much better. Murray outclassed him.

Yeah and according to Ali Shavers hits harder than Foreman. According to Holmes Shavers hits harder than Tyson.

There is a difference between hurts more an hits harder. I guarantee repeated combos from amir that you can't see coming hurt you more than a methodical placed punch from Murray. That doesnt mean Amir hits harder.

As usual- like a bull going at it. I think he had to perform like that though considering the circumstances. What a ***** not to get the Lonsdale belt outright.

How do you think he'd fair against a faded Thaxton?

Very good performance from Murray, his last 3 have been very good io, sure McCallister was awkward and it took Murray a bit longer to get at him but once he did he forced the stoppage. Today was similar to the Meager performance. Murray beats Thaxton also imo.

Agree the ITV commentators were trying to make something out of nothing during the fight.

Good performance but he needs to learn from the mistake yesterday. I agree the commentators were desparate for Murray to show signs of weight loss (1 ounce!!!:patsch) and fade.

    1 Ounce?

Why didn't he go and fire a few rounds off that would have done an ounce.

I think he'd beat Thaxton unless Thaxton really improved from his last performance. He seemed to lose all his timing in that last fight, and was incredibly tired.

Not a good combination against Murray, if you can't time and hurt him you can't stop him walking you down, and if you struggle for stamina you are toast.

I think Murray would stop Jonno in the later rounds. Something like round 8 onwards. Thaxton was really poor against Frenchy and faded down the stretch. Murray would be too aggressive and busy for him.

Did anyone catch the mini-debate between Thaxton and Barry Mac about Tyson Fury?

Barry reckons Fury is ready for Oliver McCall and Danny Williams whereas Jonno thought it would be too soon despite Fury's talent and potential.

They showed up late for the weigh in and weren't given time to lose the ounce. Also the scales were on a ****ing carpet, ridiculous, even when they're on a flat wooden stage everyone has to stand still so as not to affect the scales.
