    Geez this is funny
122 - I think Jeff Fenech beats him, Wilfredo Gomez DESTROYS him (there are at least 20 more who I think could) Lets be real , NEDAL HUSSEIN that all time great dropped him with Pac getting the benefit of about a 15 count (I have the fight, watch it)
126 - Marquez showed even though getting dropped, he still won at least 7 or 8 rounds, imagine what , Salvador Sanchez just for one anyone???
130 - Does the loss to an old version of Morales not mean anything.. Mayweather at this weight , Oscar , hello , Alexis Arguello?
135 - Come on now , JC Chavez, Duran , Whitaker , really , do we need to go on?

The man is an ALL TIME GREAT, that cannot be denied , but the best ever below 135, thats going a bit too far , even if he cleans out the welterweights....

I haven't read the whole thing, but based on the title of this thread I would say that Bernstein never said that Pac was the best under 135.... he just said "MAY BE", he didn't say 'IS'. In other words, he is not that stupid to confirm or say that he is the best or has been the best in all those weighclasses. He knows deep down that there are many great boxers that have fought in those divisions who are/were better than Pac..... hey, but he is well known and of course he loves attention too....

In 20 years from now, probably another wellknown boxing spoke pearson, or boxing ambassador will say that XXX boxer 'MAY BE' the best ever under 147...... but that doesn't make it true.

Do you really think that the boxers that Pac defeated at those weightclass have been the best ever????

Barrera II was an unnessary fight..... even Pac fans said that it was a fight that Pac had to do because Barrera was retiring and because of the money.... In other words Barrera asked for the fight not Pac..

Morales.... well he beat him didn't he???? and then Pac avenge his loss....

Marquez..... we know what happened..... one draw and one razor decission that according to many, including the vast majority of posters on this board, it could have gone either way....

    So there you have it....

If memory serves, Barrera asked Golden Boy Promotions for this fight.... It was supossed to be Barrera's last fight, and then he was going to retire...... Pac had the option to fight Barrera or fight somebody else.... people were talking at that time and saying that Pac should fight JMM instead.... Pac decided to fight Barrera.... that's what I remember.....

Pac will have to beat Mayweather to crack my top 10, Floyd is the superior boxer to Cotto or Mosely without doubt.
