I thought Cotto won but I was not impressed by him. He doesn't seem the same anymore after Margarito fight. Clottey however did impress me more than any other fight he been in. If only Clottey was more busy he'd win.

Yea clottey was stupid for not throwing enough punches in the last round. If he would have tried to win that round he probably would have won. Let's give clottey credit cuz he fought a good fight just came up short.

He always been a bit of a flat track bully. As soon as the other guy doesn't fold he goes on the retreat.

What is so hard to understand? Cotto had 1 eye for the majority of the fight. No wonder he wasn't at his peak. :patsch

Maybe because he had 1 eye.

Yeah I was saying the same thing in the round by round thread....

After Round 6, he just didn't show any aggression and it's like when he doesn't steamroll his opponent, he just retreats and becomes this counterpuncher...

If that's what he's becoming then we'll just have to adjust I guess..

Cotto was the same Cotto he's always been, flaws and all. Offensively, he's fantastic and he's a powerful puncher, but his defense has a lot of holes.

Everybody is ignoring the fact that the blood was clearly getting into Cotto's eye, impairing his vision, and ultimately his performance. For god's sake, the guy did bloody well beating a guy of Clottey's calibre despite the cut.

    Show some respect ESB.

I can't see Cotto being a top dog in the division. I can't see him beating Mosley, Williams, or Floyd. The only fight Cotto should shoot for is Berto.

The stock of both guys drops a little bit I think. Cotto isn't as good as I thought he was, and Clottey again fails to show the heart and desire to win a big fight.
