It's odd how Cotto is doing his best Jose Napoles impression as of late. He needs tougher skin. But then again, it could be the residue of Margacheato's rocks on his fists.
Cotto deserves some credit he could have quit in the middle rounds due to the cut but he didn't.... mad respect for both fighters
I've said this for awhile Cotto is very overrated here at ESB possibly the most. People act as if he's a god or something. He's a flawed fighter who will get worked by either PBF or Pac.:deal
I am not impressed with Clottey. He was fighting a cyclops, should of gone more in the attack-but didn't, and gave away the 12th round in such a close fight.
That's just it that's Clottey he's simply doesn't let his hands go enough and it's the main reason why I didn't pick him. He possibly could of stopped Cotto if he had been more aggressive.
Flawed and all, he's faced off against Mosley, Margarito and Clottey and managed to beat two of them clearly and lose one controversial. I don't think it's fair to Cotto to say he'd "get worked" by PBF or Pac, because they simply don't bring the physical, nor stylistical approach to walk down Cotto. Styles makes fights, and Cotto is a very deserving champion who needs a huge fight like one against Pac, PBF or Mosley.
