Clotto (Cotto vs Clottey) RBR

The General Forum is full of ****. Cotto fights with a badly cut eye for 9 rounds and all they are banging on about is the dodgy 116-111 card, the rabbit punch when Clottey had turned his head and a (and I quote) "bodyslam".

I think Clottey was looking for a excuse. He lacked the heart Miguel showed he was looking for point deductions and injury excuses.

Very dissapointed by him i expect better from a world class fighter. In the round he fell over i saw him lower hands after a Cotto body barrage and when he went over i think he was feeling it and looking to break it up.

 

I had Cotto by a point but the fight was there for Clottey to take.

 

I agree but in some way again Cotto deserves credit because i think he adapted and knew Clottey has a poor work rate and knew Two or Three clean shots mixed with some combination's and good defense would get him over line.

 

Why am I not surprised to find the General crying robbery?

 

it's like a circus over there i don't know what fight they watch every weekend someone's a bum someones cheat. Must admit i do find it funny but Brit Forums where it's at.

 

I particularly liked the comment about the 116-111 scorecard tonight being as bad as Eugenia Williams 115-113 scorecard for Holyfield vs Lewis. :rofl:rofl:rofl

 

The difference in the way the fight is being reported in the general forum and the this thread is hilarious. What a bunch of douchbags there is on there. I think the GF works off the principle that if you repeat a lie long enough and loud enough, it becomes fact.

 

I think its an automatic reaction to seeing that rarity in modern boxing that is an elite level competitive fight, where neither fighter is 'exposed' or 'schooled'

 

I think Cotto deserves the most credit for not taking the chance of a TD because of the cut when he must have thought he was ahead. That would have been the easy way out.
