this is exactly why boxing will never be taken seriously in the sports world ..the fans are fickled ass clowns who know nothing about how to be fair

you clowns clearly seen that clottey tried to butt his way to an early stoppage and where more then thrilled with the way the fight was turning

then something miraculous happened.. YOU DIDN'T get your way .. then all of the sudden the sport was fixed.. .people sucked..cotto was a runner ...then in the end of the fight clottey came back a bit .. that was when all was well again and boxing was fair .. the flowers were blooming the sky was blue ..birds were chirpin ... then the hammer fell ..and cotto closed the show ...now the big bad wolf blew the house down and boxing is saaad again ..we're all mad and upset ..and nobody respects cotto and how could they do this booohooo !!! ...

this is why boxing is not taken seriously .. the fans are a bunch of retarted 2 year olds with agendas

I never said Cotto was a runner, the fight was fixed, etc, etc.

I simply felt Clottey did just enough to win the fight by a score of 114-113. I didn't go overboard like most of the posters here have done and claim the fight was fixed.

I agree with the sentiment, but next time you want to refer to folks as ******s, you might want to spell it correctly:nut

Agree with some of that. I think too many people let their heart rule there head when watching a fight.

Still if you think Cotto cemented his position as a P4P great tonight, we disagree...

No that was a bit wide, that would mean he gave 10-8 first round then had Cotto winning 7-4 in the next 11.

I thought Cotto won though, a close fight.

I don't think the butt was deliberate but the play acting Clottey did was just plain wrong. :deal

that's where i fall off ... i didn't get to see the fight ..but judgeing by the play by play i read ..and most of the threads that popped up like cases of aids ...it goes with what i typed... boxing fans are nuts ..they jump sides..they cry and whine .. i mean tonight there are literally grown ass men hatching conspiracy plots on how the fight was rigged ..

Dude that is some non-sense. The boxing is becoming a joke because people have to ask questions like "Can someone get a dec vs Cotto in New York"

Its a question that is asked often in boxing. Its one of the few sports were the winner isnt clear. None of the sports that have questionable winners or outcomes are big time sports they are niche sports, which boxing has become.

Like I said the fight was close and either guy could have won, but the appearance that Clottey wouldnt get a fair shake from the start is the problem. Then the fight ends up being close and Cotto winning a very hottly disputed dec is really the worst outcome.
