I've lost all respect for Miguel Cotto

Cotto isn't my favorite fighter, but I respect his skills.

This is what I feel. The 12th round pissed me off so much I was screaming into the phone and at the TV. That was bush league (small time) stuff.

And to hear Lamps (HBO announcer) sell the cut and not even mention JC's leg, I wanted to vomit. I'm tired of this biased bullsh*t.

Again, I hated this with Taylor against Hopkins, etc. It's not just about Cotto. It's about HBO, ...

I strongly agree with you paul. :good:good

Even in the Judah fight (a guy everybody loves to hate) Cotto showed a willingness to pull some blatantly dirty tactics out of desperation.

I think Clottey should have known he could not win a UD there, but that shove to the ground in the middle rounds really did take the heat off Miguel. Cotto could have been stopped tonight imo had that not happened.

Then HBO tries to say the punch to the back of the head was "accidental". Yeah

116-111.....That is all I have to say. How the **** do you win a fight 116-111 without throwing any punches and running for the last couple of rounds. I don't get it. The De La Hoya/ Trinidad fight should get reversed. He was granted a gift from Bob Arum. Pacman in 2rds. Mosley in 2rds and Mayweather will kill Cotto too. And when Tony comes back Cotto will never fight him. He can have the victory because he already has the loss in most peoples eyes. I don't need to watch a replay to know what happened. It was there for all of us to see. Clottey should have won. Cotto was exposed.

    Exactly!

If Cotto didn't have a history of going low to get a breather, I wouldn't say anything about the 12th round shot. But that shot, combined with the load-up punch to the back of the head had me furious. That's why I made this thread.

It's Cotto's fault on the bodyslam (sure he didn't mean to slam him but it did f*ck his leg, much as the accidental butt f*cked MC's eye), the low blow and the hit to the back of the head.

But it's HBO's fault to freaking put on kneepad's and suck MC's knob. That's crap, and what they did with Taylor, Pavlik, ...SO SICK of that crap. Lamps did it in the Cotto-Margo fight, too, and thankfully Manny was there, as tonight, to set it straight.

Quoted For Truth (QFT). Thanks. :good:good

Pac and Floyd are just sitting back and smiling tonight. Cotto might beat them both (I always thought PBF would beat Cotto handily), or Pac b/c of size, but speed-wise and on some other areas, no shot for MC, IMO.
