I say.... Mayweather/Cotto next

Margarito beats him, Cotto just can't handle a pressure fighter who has the stamina and ability to handle his shots. Not much skill needed just pure aggression.

 

Totally agree Mayweather would have NEVER wanted this fight before tonight, now Mayweather will fight him. Floyd would still not fight Shane.

As far as I remember Mayweather called him out numerous times and got a "Not ready" note.

If it took you this long to see that Cotto is vulnerable don't expect Mayweather to be in your level of knowledge.

Forget that anyways Cotto is fighting Pac next...Just like I said, if he fought one it would be Cotto.:good

 

i don't think cotto can hang with mayweather anymore judging from the clottey fight. cotto hasn't been the same post-margo, loaded gloves or not.

 

No, if Floyd beats Marquez, it's gonna be Pac-Floyd. This is the fight boxing fans want. But if Floyd can't agree to negotiate, it will be Pac-Cotto.

 

That would be a clear move from Arum feeding guys in his stable again. Pac already told him to **** off and he wants Mayweather next then he's done. Of course they might change their minds and take this as a quickie with Mayweather shooting for Mosley then it's on.

I don't know whatever they want to do as long as Pac/Mayweather is on the works I'm happy. A fight with Cotto for either guy is worthless in my view, unless it's a stay active fight.

 

If Mayweather prices his self out I'll be the first to bash on him, this is a fight that MUST happen. Beat Marquez, 50/50 and let's get it on.

 

@ scar i agree with you, he is not shot but the question i had going into this fight was who is the real cotto? i know he won belts in jr ww and ww (that where all vacant) i never questioned his heart as a fighter and seeing how he fought on tonight only helped. but the vulnerable side seems to be getting bigger, i never thought he could beat floyd, i was ringside tonight, ringside for the shane fight (the common thought was if he fought shane 5 years ago he would of got killed) was there for the zab fight....the punches where really really slow, i am going to watch it on tv in a few but ringside a fast fighter (floyd or pacman) would ate him up tonight IMO. i never had cotto in my top 10 p4p list even though he won tonight the questions still loom for me,

 

We will see. But my guess is with them saying that Floyd is going to have to take 35 to 40% that fight isnt going to happen, and Arum keeps saying that Pac is fighting Cotto. No to mention HBO asked Cotto about Pac and no one eles. Im telling you cats, you dont see the writing on the wall. Pac vs Cotto is coming:good

pac was watching the cotto-clottey fight at ringside. i think pac is now more confident that he can possibly beat cotto. if the mayweather fight doesn't happen, pac will go for cotto instead.

 

Look guys this is nothing new, Margarito didnt do this to him. Cotto has always got hit alot which Cotto fans have got to realize, his defense has always been questionable, a sucker for an uppercut, do usual Cotto. And PPL actually though he can hang with Mayweather?????? HAHAHAHA
