For Pac, Clottey as I see him in this fight is harder to beat than Cotto. He's faster than Cotto and has impenetrable defense. Pac Clottey is an interesting fight. Pac detractors would not give Pac any credit for beating Cotto. As usual, they will say Cotto was destroyed by Margo or his leftover. Quite predictable these haters are.

I disagree. Cotto is easier to beat than Clottey. He's destroyed by Margarito. His chin is now shaky.

Clottey's defense was at times too much for Cotto, I can only imagine what a brawler like Pacquiao would do to him.

I love to see this fight at 147 with Pac testing his limit by fighting a true WW

Shaky chin??? Margarito made him quit. I will give you that. But he didn't do the chicken dance nor landed on his back. Clottey didn't cause that either. I don't think Manny is stronger than either one of them. Manny is also very hittable. He has never been hit by a man like Cotto. Cotto is also way better boxer that Fatton. How fast you think Manny will be after Cotto touch his ribs a couple of times???

I starting to weaken my stance a bit on Pac's chances against the top welters. Cotto is definitely a fighter with the type of vulnerabilities that Pac maybe able to exploit. :think

Cotto can't hit Pac when he's not there. Pac's speed and power will be too much for a slowmoving Cotto.

If cotto drains himself by fighting at 144 or something then he will get killed, but even at 147 i would pick pac for sure. clotty stung cotto a few times and he hits nowhere near as hard as pac, pac is also much faster then clotty so if clotty could land more punches then cotto landed on him, then pac surelyw ould land more punches, and pac is very hard to hit.

Cotto always had a shaky chin. He was stunned by both Mosley and Judah, a southpaw who's going back down to 140.

I don't think it's unreasonable to say that Pacquiao, who has a left that's like a laser beam, wouldn't be able to tag Cotto several times over the course of a fight and eventually stop him. I don't care if Oscar was walking around like a corpse, he still had the power to drop Pac and he didn't.

Pac's chances against Cotto and stopping him are more than good.
