Lmfao @ legitimate champ. Please man. David Diaz was clearly a paper weak champion in which is why Pacquiao wanted to fight him so bad. Hint whyelse the ppv buy rate was way under 300k? And so what if David is the same fighter that beat Cruz that beat Casa. <<<<<So is that mean Mayorga is an all time great cause he beat Forrest twice that beat Mosley twice? The same Mosley that beat a prime De la hoya twice?

He was a beltholder and Pac needed a tune up fight in the l35. Pac won in a lopsided manner. What's your problem? That's not my article. You should address your concern to the writer of that article or better still BWAA. You're barking at the wrong tree, my friend. :yep:hi:

You just said Diaz is a legitimate champ in which you trying to say he's a legit champion lol please man. Everybody knows Diaz as just say was a tune up fight for Pacquiao. But why put Diaz name in the same sentence with De la hoya as Pacquiao great win? Beating Diaz was not a great win cause as you say it was a tune up fight.

Blame Yahoo Sports which reported that news. Didn't I tell you it was a tune up fight? It was damned a tune fight which gave dela Hoya the idea of fighting Pac. It was an opportunity that followed after Pac spectacular performance showcase. The fact is it was a fight that's great for boxing as entertainment.
It was a treat to boxing fans all over the world.

Oh man stop with "106 stopping at 135" bs. Whoopy duo. Duran started his career at 118 pounds and good lord he went way up to 147 pounds and beat one the true greats in prime Leonard and went the distance vs greats like Hearns and Hagler at middleweight. <<<<<<That's something to be brag about.

Whats wrong with so many people on this site?? If someone makes a thread like this he's a ******* and a nuthugger or whatever you call it. And if someone makes a thread where he give mayweather credit he's a mayweather **** or whatever. Is it not allowed to be fans of fighters anymore?

Duran is a good fighter at lightweight but he fell short in the welterweight and middleweight divisions. Pac has shown that he can jump weights and still be competitive fighting boxers above his natural weight. Pac may have already eclipsed or even exceeded Duran's resume at this point.
