Shut up, blue text boy. You're stupid enough to have an African saying in your location yet you punk the African fighter who got measured for a shot in the back of the head by Miguelito. Nice work, "Champ." Guys throw shots that land on the back of the head. That's one thing. Measuring a guy for a shot to the back of the head is another. That's what Miguel did, and it was bullsh*t by a guy who's tank was empty and didn't deserve another gift HBO decision.
I don't think he measured him for it at all, and the referee and the Setanta broadcast team agreed. I don't know where you are coming from with this, it seems extreme and odd.
Some times these things happen in the heat of battle and it didn't affect the outcome of the fight in any way. Some people need to quit whinging and grow a pair. Its professional boxing FFS!!!
I watched Cotto look at the back of Clottey's head, ponder whether to throw a punch and then throw a punch. That's where I'm "coming from with this." I am sorry if that seems 'extreme' or 'odd' to you. We've been down this road before, with you and the whole Dawson/Calzaghe in Wales thing with HBO, please don't go down it again.
Yes, how could you possibly have respect for someone who fought most of the fight with a cut he had to keep wiping with his glove in order to see his opponent? A cut he could easily have used to get out of the fight but wanted to put on a show for the fans. Meanwhile, all respect to the man who indulged in histrionics following the 'throw' and playing up of rabbit punch and 'low blow'.
ya noob, sure; nearly a year on this site reading your idiotic posts! makes me feel numb actually....
If you've been reading my posts for a year, then you may have actually learned some boxing knowledge, via the process of diffusion.
i lied, i actually avoid your threads!yours is a concentration of something i want nothing to do with.....
Then you avoid learning more about the sport. Given your general attitude, you could stand to learn more about boxing. Whatever, it's your choice. It's ok -- you can go back to fellating your Taino warrior doll now. We'll try to stay strong while you're gone.
There is a patern developing with Clotteys behaviour - he complains that nobody will fight him, complains when he doesn't get a decision that he doesn't deserve, complains about a sore hand, complains about falling over, complains about taking a shot on the back of the head - he needs to stop complaining! Honestly, I wonder how he ever gets through a training camp. Was the blow on the back of the head deliberate? Does it really matter, it wasn't particulary hard. Instead of putting his energy into complaining, he might want to put it into throwing puches and using some 'roughhouse' tactics of his own. What, with that big ass head of his, and his general strength, he could be a real bully in the ring - he should use these attributes to his advantage. Seriously, if one of my fighters came back to me complaing of being tickled on the back of the head, or being shoved to the floor i'd be furious with him. It's a fight, and my rule is "do unto others as they do to you". Honestly, i've got 12 year old fighters who display more of a 'take no ****' attitude that Clottey. **** me, can you imagine if Clottey was fighting 20 years ago, what would he do if he was fighting Roberto Duran, who's ripping laces across his face, holding and hitting, rabbit punches, low blows etc... Boxing is not a sport for pussies, and although Clottey may think he has valid complaints, he needs to cut out the drama, get on with things and start giving his opponents a taste of their own medicine.
