    Look at all of Oscar's gift. Pernell/Ike/Sturm. Cotto v Mosley/Clottey. JCC V Taylor/Pernell
    Holyfield v Lewis 1.

If you are not a draw, you will not win most of the time

    It can be rigged.

And it's happened for many years.

In some cases I have really questioned the veraicty of the judging at fights. Pacman-JMM II, John-Juarez et al, to name some recent ones. That said, if this thread is insinuating that last night was rigged- I would disagree.

There are definatly cases where it has been rigged in the past butthe overwhelming majority of the time it's not. Just remember, judges are fans also and just like the posters here on the site, probably score for the guy they want to win whenever possible. They can also be swayed by the crowd or by notions going into the fight. Like take Toney vs Peter for instance. Before the opening bell, the judges had already decided that Peter isa monster puncher and that every shot he lands is devasting and worth like 5 of Toney's punches. Or DLH vs Trinidad. The judges went into the fight with the notion that Oscar got too many easy decisions and that they had to be harder on him and score close rounds for Tito. Doesn't mean it was rigged and they were paid off, just that they are human and emotional and capable of error.

sometimes way too much future money is to be lost by A LOT of people by a certain fighter losing.....its gotten better where you dont see these all out robberies like JCC/Whitaker.

Hmmm... Hard to say. Some decisions are clearly influenced by factors that should not be taken into account (crowd, location, upcoming fights etc).

There are changes that certainly need to be made.

That'll do it. My amp is busted so no jamming for me recently. :patsch Metal songs somewhat lose their impact when played acoustically. It's like MTV unplugged in my house- but obviously much better.

YEs to an extent, a KO can obviously throw that out the window. But judges and refs will favour the house fighter time and again. Boxing is also rigged by hand picking opponents.
