Bob Arum clearly wants to milk him and feed him to someone in his stable before Cotto leaves him(which he will). All the promotion fed to someone in his stable and he remains the winner. That's how it always is.
So what do you think happens next, Scar? You think we actually see Pac-Cotto and Mosley-Mayweather? If so, I think that will lead to an eventual Mosley-Pac showdown, personally.
That's what I have been saying too. Right now I think Pacquiao will wait for Mayweather/Marquez, IF he doesn't and takes on Cotto then we will have Cotto/Pac and Mayweather/Mosley with the winners meeting up mid or late next year. It's either that or straight away Mayweather/Marquez winner vs Pacquiao late this year or early next.
Mosley took some tremendous shots in the first fight. I dont think he would be able to stand up to those same shots again.
Shane is becoming overrated. Cotto won a close but CLEAR decision over him 2 years ago. Shane is now 38.
And since that time, Cotto has been in obvious decline, whereas Shane seems to be improving under the direction of Naz Richardson. :smoke
Cotto's right hand coudnt miss that night. And there was one right hand that made Mosley look like a bobblehead doll. No to mention that when Cotto got on his 'bike' he was still able to get the better of Mosley.
Judging by last night, Mosley on points. Although he is a cheat, Margo was still very dangerous when Mosley destroyed him. Also, last night was always gonna be a close fight and the cut didn't help Cotto open up (no pun intended). It's defo a rematch I wanna see.
I honestly thought Mosley did enough to win, even when I thought he was fighting the wrong fight. Mosley shan't make the same mistakes twice.
Mosley stops him this time. Shane is always stronger in rematches and with Naz Richardson in his corner now...it's a wrap.
Based on their last two performances, Shane stops Cotto. Cotto doesn't look the same fighter that traded blows with Mosley anymore. Mosley must be full of confidence at the moment after his mauling of Margarito. Where Cotto's self belief has eroded.
