Your thoughts on Cotto throwing Clottey and punching him in the back of the head.

No - dirty **** is Clottey jumping up onto the shoulder of Cotto, trying to wrench his neck down - Cotto threw him off, Clottey slipped on the painting on the Canvas and hurt his knee.

The punch to the back of the head was Clottey's fault - he turned his back on Cotto just as Cotto threw the shot - the reaction afterwards said it all, it took him a good three seconds to realise "Oh, it hit me on the back of the head, I should go down" and was as bad acting as any soccer player I've seen.

What about the headbutt? You know, that thing that seemingly always happens in Clottey fights?

 

He should've done it twice to really give Clottey a reason to complain like he did. ****ing drama queen!

Both guys have their share of dirty tactics. Clottey is well known for his headbutts.

clottey acted like a ***** after the punch behind the head, he takes over hundreds of shots from cotto and is unfazed and then as soon as cotto throws a love tap behind the head he falls down and cries.

They weren't sportsmanlike acts, no, but Clottey absolutely killed both moments with the Susan Lucci performances. Mercante Jr. is just about the last possible referee in the sport to reward extra flopping and floundering about. Clottey guaranteed himself zero consideration with his womanly childish behavior, but yeah, Cotto can get into some punk **** given the circumstances.

I thought Clottey pretty much slammed his own face into the mat. All Cotto really did is push him off while he was leaning with all his weight on Cotto. I thought it was well deserved considering the tactics being employed.
